WHAT IS A STUDENT ASSISTANCE COUNSELOR (SAC)?

The main role of a SAC is to assist students with any social, emotional or personal issue that is affecting their overall academic performance in school.  SACs offer confidential mental health and substance abuse counseling to students in need of support.  We provide a range of school-based prevention and intervention services to students and families in the community.

 

OUR SERVICES:

We offer both individual and group counseling sessions for the below concerns:

DEPRESSION

ANXIETY/STRESS MANAGEMENT

FAMILY CHANGES

GRIEF/LOSS

SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION PROGRAMS

CRISIS MANAGEMENT

ABUSE/NEGLECT

A state funded group offered at the high school who educates the school and community on the vaping epidemic throughout the state of New Jersey.  DON'T BE FUULED BY THE JUUL. JOIN THE MOVEMENT.
